While Horizons at Episcopal Academy operates under the nonprofit status (501c3) of Episcopal Academy, our annual operating expenses are covered through contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations. While we benefit greatly from the use of space and in-kind support, Horizons is 100% independently funded. For this reason, we depend on the support of the community to ensure that our program thrives and prospers.
Pennsylvania ranks nearly the worst in the nation for educational opportunity gaps between the academic performance of students from low-income families and their more affluent peers. Horizons is working to close this gap and ensure our students graduate from high school and attend post secondary education. 91% of Horizons graduates go on to attend college or other post-secondary training! We can’t accomplish this without your support. The need is great, and the demand is high – that’s why the Horizons network continues to thrive.
